A moment in life when you start thinking...about assessing the value of eating meat. I saw the two pigs raising at the farm, in the beginning they were small and my daughter had them on their arms. They were nameless as the coming procedure was difficult enough.
Participating a home slaughtering is rare in these times. Many people do not want to do it or show it, a lot of must do's are connected to home slaughtering. Using the meat only for yourself, establishing a meat examination before and after the slaughter, having a butcher at your farm or house and using the proper equipment, cleanness and hygiene.
It is not about cost saving, the meat you buy in supermarkets is considerably cheaper. Participants are mentally affected, but learned something out of it. Slaughtering animals is a day to day procedure which is perfectly pushed to the sideline in our society, outside of visibility and even outside of our minds.
